This documentary about animals, meat and culture weaves together interviews with animal rights activists, agribusiness representatives and animal welfare experts with archival and current footage (including some disturbing slaughter house scenes). A Cow at My Table delves into many aspects of today's agribusiness and provides a springboard for discussion in : The history; the culture; the anthropology; the science; and the spirituality of raising animals for human consumption or regarding animals as individuals with souls to respect.
