Country Available: Canada, USA
Innocent Tricks traces the roots of teen prostitution by recounting the harrowing story of two young girls from suburbia.

Chantal was raised by hard working, religious parents, yet was a pimp by age fifteen. Jen was from a middle class home. She did well in school and excelled in sports, but a growing drug addiction let her to prostitution at sixteen.

This outstanding documentary follows their paths from childhood to the influences and choices that pulled them into the sex trade, then guides us through their long road to recovery. Emotional interviews with the families, as well as police officers and caseworkers help piece together the puzzle of this rapidly growing problem.
