This DVD disc contains the following programs:
- Program 4: Hosts Lorne, Monica, and Tasha spend two days in Winnipeg to visit the Yellow Quill College’s Diabetes Educator Program, and interview Kandice Leonard, the Executive Director of the National Aboriginal Diabetes Association. Also in this program, Lorne goes on a shopping tour to learn about making healthy food choices, and golfer Gilbert Chief, who is legally blind and living with Diabetes, is profiled.
- Program 5: Hosts Monica, Lorne, and Tasha profile the community of Ochapowace, visiting their walking club. Elder Kathleen Watson, and the Community Health Director are also inerviewed. Lorne learns about walking, jogging, warming up, and cooling down, and attends the Big Bear Healing Walk, and interviews one of its organizers, Elder Simon Kytwayhat. Simon also closes this program with this “Final Words.”
- Program 6: Tasha, Lorne, and Monica attend the Dakota Diabetes Ride, and learn how to cook low-fat chicken. Tasha interviews Nadine McDougall about her personal connection to Diabetes and her work with the Canadian Diabetes Association. The “Final Words” segment is in the Dakota language.
