09. Basketball: The 2007 All-Native Basketball Tournament

Aboriginal involvement in basketball and basketball tournaments has been extensive and has an exceptional history. Prince Rupert, BC held their first Aboriginal basketball tournament in 1947 and has had a tournament every year since 1960. The popular games have grown into an international event involving teams from all over British Columbia, Alaska and Washington State.
