This one-hour documentary examines the history of mining in the Yukon. It also looks at the development of new mines today, specifically Sa Dene Hes near Watson Lake, Windy Craggy, in Northern British Columbia and the Wellgreen Nickel deposit near Burwash Landing.

At each region, Native people and environmentalists are interviewed along with proponents of the deposits.
