Aboriginal people have an intimate connection with the natural world around them and have acquired a special knowledge through it. Western science, on the other hand, has taught us to believe that scientific learning is acquired through the specific study of biology, chemistry and physics.

Living with Mother Earth presents both sides. We see that leading thinkers in science are echoing what Aboriginal elders have been saying for generations: plants and animals are genetically related to us and we must learn to live in harmony with all of nature.
