Valley of the Eagles

Go back...

Each winter, 3,500 bald eagles land in the Chilkat Valley, near Haines Alaska to feed on the late run of Chum salmon. Excellent cinematography captures this magic event, one of the largest and most unique gatherings of eagles in North America.

Tourists and wildlife photographers from around the world study these magnificent creatures. Wildlife experts offer us information on the lifestyle of the eagles and their importance in the food chain.
