The Yukon is a remote and mostly uninhabitable wilderness. Claude Tidd, an RCMP officer was one of the first non-native people to reside in this pristine part of Canada. A gifted amateur cinematographer, Tidd carried his 16mm camera wherever he went. In this program, we are treated to a selection of his footage from an era in the Yukon prior to the encroachment of commercial and government interests. |
