Improving the accuracy of searches
To find almost anything in our catalogue, you can use our keyword search. By
using one or two words you can quickly find what you’re looking for.
The easiest way to get accurate results is to keep things simple. The keyword
search looks for an approximate match to the words you enter by searching
a set of keywords, the title and description for each video and series in
our catalogue. If you want to limit search results, or perform a more advanced
search, use the advanced search page. This will let you search for multiple
keywords or phrases, and allow you to limit your search to specific parts
of the catalogue.
If you want to see an inclusive list of our titles, you can browse by title, or by subject.
Bookmarking Search Results
Our new site allows you to bookmark the results of a search, or an individual video you found by using a search. Such a link might look like this:http://www.filmwest.com/Catalgoue/detail.php?id=2023
Some URLs have a '?' in them. This is important because it tells us what video or list of videos you want to see. Remember to include it in the URL if you’re emailing it to someone else!
